Welcome to CAMRENT EGYPT. By accessing and using our website and rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing any rental order.
1. Rental Agreement
By submitting a rental request through our platform, you enter into a rental agreement with CAMRENT EGYPT subject to the following terms:
- All rental requests are subject to approval by CAMRENT EGYPT. Approval is typically processed within 24 hours.
- The rental period begins on the pickup date and ends on the return date as specified in the confirmed rental order.
- Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to equipment availability. Additional fees apply for extended periods.
- Equipment must be returned to the designated pickup/return location during business hours on or before the return date.
- Late returns may incur additional charges calculated at the daily rental rate for each day overdue.
2. Equipment Care & Handling
You are responsible for the proper care and handling of all rented equipment:
- Equipment must be handled with professional care and used only for its intended purpose.
- Protect equipment from extreme weather conditions, water damage, and excessive dust unless the equipment is rated for such conditions.
- Do not modify, repair, or disassemble any equipment. If a malfunction occurs, contact our support team immediately.
- Return all accessories, cables, batteries, and manuals that were included with the rental.
- Equipment should be returned in a reasonably clean condition, free of debris and residue.
3. Liability & Damage
Understanding your liability for rented equipment:
- A security deposit is required for each rental. The deposit amount is based on the equipment's replacement value.
- Normal wear and tear is expected and will not result in charges.
- You are liable for damage beyond normal wear and tear. Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
- In case of theft or total loss, you are responsible for the full replacement value of the equipment.
- We strongly recommend obtaining separate insurance coverage for high-value equipment or extended rental periods.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for rental services is governed by the following terms:
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards.
- Full rental payment plus security deposit is collected upon equipment pickup.
- Security deposits are refunded within 3-5 business days after equipment return, pending inspection.
- All prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Rental rates are fixed at the time of booking. Price changes will not affect confirmed reservations.
5. Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Free cancellation is available for requests cancelled before approval.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental start date may incur a fee equal to one day's rental.
- No-shows without cancellation will be charged for the full rental period.
- Approved rental payments are non-refundable once the equipment has been picked up.
- In case of documented emergencies, we may offer partial refunds at our discretion.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these terms:
- First, contact our support team to attempt an amicable resolution.
- If unresolved, disputes will be referred to mediation in Cairo, Egypt.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
- Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the competent courts of Giza Governorate, Egypt.
CAMRENT EGYPT reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
